Face to Face
At the AFN’s Energy Forum in Vancouver in February, I had the chance to speak to AFN National Chief Perry Bellegarde about pipelines and how First Nations can benefit from resource development. We also discuss the recent conflicts within the AFN and how the National Chief hopes to keep the organization unified as some communities call for an end to pipeline and oil development, while others are hoping to improve their communities through the same industry. The National Chief explains, on this Face to Face, that the Assembly of First Nations is a very big tent that every First Nation community can fit under.
